We’re seeking a qualified Surveying Engineer with proven professional experience in the geospatial sector to join our technical team in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for executing surveying operations with high precision, processing geospatial data, and supporting the delivery of accurate spatial information for infrastructure, cadastral, and development projects. A strong background in coordinate systems, datums, and GPS/GNSS technologies available in the KSA market is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct land, topographic, cadastral, and control surveys using modern surveying equipment (GPS/GNSS, Total Station, UAV/Drone, digital levels).
• Apply knowledge of coordinate systems, projections, and datums used in Saudi Arabia (e.g., WGS84, ITRF, municipal/local datums).
• Ensure accuracy and precision in survey networks, geodetic control, and infrastructure-related surveying.
• Operate and manage various GPS/GNSS systems and brands common in KSA (Trimble, Leica, Topcon, Hi-Target, South, etc.), including RTK, PPK, and static surveys.
• Process and analyze geospatial data to produce high-accuracy maps, plans, models, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with GIS and engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and project alignment.
• Maintain compliance with Saudi municipality standards and international surveying best practices.
• Document methodologies, survey results, and transformation processes between coordinate systems/datums.
• Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of all surveying instruments.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Geodesy, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in surveying and geospatial projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi coordinate systems, datum transformations, and geodetic networks.
• Proven expertise in survey accuracy classes, tolerances, and precision requirements for cadastral and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, and survey processing software (e.g., Trimble Business Center, Leica Infinity, Topcon MAGNET).
• Demonstrated ability to operate advanced surveying instruments and GNSS/GPS systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Valid Saudi driving license (preferred).
• English proficiency required.
