About the Job:
To manage, plan, and organize all warehouse operations to ensure optimal use of resources, inventory accuracy, efficient storage, and smooth receiving, storage, and issuing processes in alignment with the company’s policies and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement warehouse management plans, policies, and procedures.
2. Supervise receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution processes, ensuring their accuracy.
3. Manage warehouse staff (storekeepers, workers, supervisors) and delegate tasks effectively.
4. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
5. Use inventory management systems (ERP or WMS) and ensure accurate data entry and updates.
6. Improve and optimize storage, loading, and transportation methods to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
7. Prepare periodic reports on stock movement, consumption rates, and reorder points.
8. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and occupational health standards in the warehouse.
9. Coordinate with other departments (procurement, finance, production, operations) to fulfill their requirements.
10. Manage risks and resolve emergency issues such as material damage or loss.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in warehouse or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• System Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Advanced Knowledge of inventory management strategies and supply chain practices.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office programs.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and quality standards.
